  1. The 2017 will be my 8th Subaru Forester……the only problem I ever had was that the air conditioning evaporators seem to be design defective…I have had to replace 3. tom

  2. The 2017 will be my 8th Subaru Forester. The only problem that I have ever had with these cars is that the air conditioning evaporators seem to be design defective and very inaccessible and expensive to replace. tom

  3. since 2005 or later toyota has being making changes to Subaru engines, intake air system and location of oil filter(see tacomas pick up engines)also they are doing fusion models(tribeca and highlander)I own two subarus a 2011 forester sound likes a toyota and a 2002 outback engine sounds as a Subaru should, also I have owned others subarus models 1998 forester, 2002 impreza outback, 2004 impreza rs wagon, 2005 outback, older are better.

  4. All the “design” changes & unnecessary trim tweaks don’t make up for the consistent lack of: lighted glovebox; better lighting system in cargo area; hatchback door that doesn’t raise high enough unless you’re under 5’8″; lighted vanity mirrors; cup holders that are placed too far back in console forcing you to wrench your arm backward to grab & replace a cup; heated sideview mirrors & power front passenger seat; improved radio scanning.

  5. I’m on my 4th Suby, only issue is their fan is always noisy. I wish they improve that and also wind noise and suspension is way too soft on the regular fotester.
