2017 Range Rover Evoque may be the last of its kind to enter the production line. Evoque has always been a class apart in the crossover SUV segment. What makes the 2017 edition special is the introduction of a 5 seating capacity Convertible variant. All the three variants of 2017 Range Rover Evoque will have further sub models: Pure, SE, SE Dynamic, HSE, and HSE Dynamic. These models will have different levels of specification and drivetrain, common almost in all aspects across the three body design variants.
2017 Range Rover Evoque: Engine and Fuel Economy
Customers will probably have to choose between four engine variants. ED4 Diesel with e-capability, Si4 Petrol and TD4 Diesel engine with or without e-capability.
Capacity of all types of engines are same at 1999 cc. Power output will depend on the engine model, lowest being around 110 KW and highest over 180 KW. Torque will be in the range of 340 Nm and 430 Nm. Diesel engines will have a higher torque.
Top speed will probably be between 111 mph and 142 mph. A mileage of 5-6 litres per 100 km is expected from the diesel models. Petrol engines have a higher demand of over 10 litres per 100 km. They have a carbon emission of less than 130 g/km and over 180 g/km respectively.
A six speed gearbox will come in both manual and automatic transmission modes. 9 speed gearboxes will be fully automatic. Front wheel drive may feature in some of the models, for the rest it will be a four wheel drive system that can tackle any terrain while providing highest level of comfort.
2017 Range Rover Evoque will feature various driving assist mechanisms like Anti-Lock Braking System, Dynamic Stability Control, Roll Stability Control, Traction Control System, Emergency Brake Assist, Electronic Power Assisted Steering and Engine Drag Torque Control.
2017 Range Rvoer Evoque: Exterior and Interior
2017 Range Rover Evoque looks as award winning as its predecessors. Like any Range Rover model, the front looks strong enough to survive through most tough scenarios. The convertible version has the same body structure as other Evoque models, its roof folds neatly into the space behind the back row seats. The standard and coupé models will have an option for panoramic rooftops. There are puddle lamps outside illuminating the ground at key spots with a Range Rover logo. Headlights and tail lights are composed of efficient LED illumination system. Fog lights will be standard across all models.
2017 Range Rover Evoque will probably have a length, height and breadth of around 4370 mm, 1621 mm and 1980 mm respectively. Wading in water at 500 mm depth could also be possible.
Inside 2017 Range Rover Evoque things get more interesting, as customers will get to choose between various packages relating to texture, features and amnesties. Wherever possible, texture can be leather, aluminium or wood veneer. Instrumentation is adequate to meet most demands people have with a luxury car. No price figures of 2017 Range Rover Evoque have been announced yet, although market estimates put it around $ 50 000.
