  1. I suggested, years ago, that Toyota take its great 4 Runner model, give it even more off road capabilities, offer a bit more head and leg room for 6:00 footers plus, and bring back it original ground clearance ——AND, it be offered in diesel fuel model.
It would be # 1 forever with those who hunt and fish in rather bad access and road locatons ( where one makes their own road frequently ). It would outsell anything even comparable with the 4 Runner’s reliability rating!!!
Appears Toyota is finally beginning to listen.
The ladies can enjoy the Highlander…please give us sortsman and sportswomen a tough, durable vehicle which also offers a little more comfort to the 6 plus footers – which I’m not, but amny of my friends who really like the 4 Runner – but comment on its lack of head and leg room….A bit more would go a long way…and, in conjunction with a diesel…WOW!!!
