Prospective buyers shall be able to choose between the six speed manual and the six speed automatic transmission. One new feature in its power unit will be the front wheel drive since this model has been available with the al wheel drive only. This new model, 2016 Insignia, is projected to be unveiled before the end of 2015 or in the beginning of 2016. Its price will not differ much from the current model and it is expected to cost approximately $ 40 000 for the base models while the higher trims will cost about $ 50 000.
