As for the fog lights, they will not only be redesigned, but their size will be increased unlike the head lights. The company logo will be placed in the middle of the new model’s redesigned grille. The bumper will be large than in the outgoing model. To increase its stability, this model will be equipped with large and powerful wheels. The redesigned 2016 Nissan Xterra will come in new dimensions of 178.7 inches in length, 72.8 inches in width and 74.9 inches in height.

Its level of comfort will be greatly enhanced. Its dashboard will be perfectly organized and it will contain various features which are vital for safe driving. Its centre console will consist of high technological features including a 4.3 inches LCD screen, a 5.8 inches touch screen, Bluetooth and USB ports, Pandora Link Support system, air conditioning system, keyless entry, six airbags, navigation system, anti-lock brakes, rear camera, cruise control and AM/FM/CD player. Its cabin space will also be increased to enhance the occupants’ comfort level. Even the seats will also be refreshed by wrapping them n comfy and high quality material.

2016 Nissan Xterra will feature a powerful drive train. Its manufactures have opted to go for the verified 4.0 liter V6 engine. This engine is capable of delivering 261 horsepower and 281 pounds-feet of torque. The 2016 Nissan Xterra will adopt two transmission variants namely the five speed automatic or the six speed manual transmission. Its fuel type is rumored to be diesel. An optional four wheel drive is also expected as well as standard front wheel drive. The new Xterra will be able to accelerate from zero to 60 mph in about 7.7 seconds. As for its fuel consumption, it is rated at 16 mph city and 17 mph highway or 20 mph combined while using the all wheels drive mode.

  1. The new xterra looks more like the Pathfinder now with everything rounded. At that rate I may be leaving Nissan after having them since the original 87 Pathfinder.

  2. The new Pathfinder should have another name since it s totally another truck. Front wheel in two wheel mode, look etc. Hope won t be the same with the xterra, want to change my 2007!!! Will it be a nissan …..

  3. have a 2011 Pro4X am thinking of going for a newer Nissan After seeing the NEW Xterra
    May look for a 2015 Xterra or stick w/Pro4X

  4. I am looking for a 2015 Xterra, so far Nissan seems to have dropped the ball on what people really want. The redesign does not look like my idea of an Xterra.
